Every paid plan starts with a 15-day free trial. We collect a payment method when you begin so your plan can continue without interruption, but you are not charged during the trial.

How trials, billing, cancellations, and refunds work at Cross-Examine.
When you are charged
If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your card is charged for the plan and billing interval you chose — monthly, quarterly, or annual — and again at each renewal until you cancel.
No refunds
All payments are final and non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial periods, unused time, downgrades, or cancellations made after a charge.
Cancellations
You can cancel anytime from Account & Billing. Your plan stays active and you keep full access until the end of the period you have already paid for — it simply does not renew.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, including when a trial converts, your account moves to the Free plan and paid features are paused. Starting a new paid subscription restores access.
One trial per person
The 15-day trial is available once. After a trial has been used — or if a payment fails — that account is no longer eligible for another trial and would need a paid subscription. We may verify a phone number at sign-up to prevent duplicate trials.
